Class Details
- Any sewing machine is welcome!
- Whether you're new to free-motion quilting or want to learn new techniques, this class will change the way you quilt.
- This class is recommended for all levels of quilters. Those who have never tried using rulers and those who need more practice
Bring your machine
- Any make or model of machine will be welcome.
- You must be able to lower your feed dogs.
- BERNINA owners should bring their BSR as well as their machine.
Kit will be provided.

Ruler Work - Quilted Mini Mandala
with Robin Bogaert, BERNINA Ambassador
Bring your machine - any make or model of machine will be welcome.
Bring your ruler foot - if you don't have one, we can help you purchase the right one for your machine but we need enough time to get additional stock. You will need to know your machine's shank height.
Kit will be provided.

Participants will learn to work with various shapes & brands of machine quilting rulers like straight rulers, geometric shapes, ovals, circles, clamshells, spinning /centred rulers to make a small mandala quilt.
Robin will discuss tips for success with ruler work quilting and share her own personal collection of rulers so students can identify which rulers they enjoy working with. Students will be shown how to draft the mandala and how to place each ruler & quilt it to make their own unique mandala design.
This ruler work quilted mandala project could also be expanded into an entire large quilt after the class.
