BEG06: Beginner's Sampler Class - Wednesdays 9:30-1:30
Create your own heirloom while learning the A-Z of quilting in this 8-session class. Start by choosing your fabrics with our assistance. (Fabrics must be purchased from Rose Cottage.) Six different blocks each teach you fundamental piecing skills. Learn squaring up, sashing and borders, basic quilting of the layers and binding skills to complete your training. You can proudly call yourself a quilter on completion.

3-session class English Paper Piecing (EPP) is the technique of folding fabric over paper templates and hand sewing these together. The paper template shape ensures the blocks are accurate and also makes it easier to piece angles together. EPP requires only paper, fabric, scissors, thread and needles, so it's a great craft to do while watching tv, during intermission at the kid's sport event or to take with you on a trip. Initial kit and supplies will be available in class.
